Brew Barist ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

Brew Barist does not collect, store, or share any personal data. We do not use analytics services, crash reporting tools, or third-party tracking of any kind.

No account creation is required. No email, name, or location data is requested. All app features function entirely on-device.

INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

All data you create in Brew Barist — coffee profiles, brew sessions, recipes, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it manually.

PHOTO LIBRARY AND CAMERA

Brew Barist may request access to your device's camera and photo library solely for the purpose of attaching images to coffee profiles. Photos are stored locally within the app's database. We do not upload, transmit, or share any images.

NOTIFICATIONS

If you grant notification permission, Brew Barist uses local notifications to alert you when your brew timer finishes. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and no data is sent to any server.

APP GROUPS AND WIDGETS

Brew Barist uses App Groups to share preferences between the main app and its widget extension. This data is stored on-device and is not transmitted externally.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Brew Barist does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

IN-APP PURCHASES

In-app purchases are processed through Apple's StoreKit 2 framework. Brew Barist never receives or stores your payment information. All transactions are handled securely by Apple.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Brew Barist does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Our app is intended for general audiences.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app.
